  9. I got this recipe from an Italian roommate in college.

  11.         Funnel Cakes
  12.  
  13. 2 eggs, beaten
  14. 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 cups milk
  15. 2 cups flour
  16. 1 tsp. baking powder
  17. 1/2 tsp. salt
  18.  
  19. Combine eggs and milk in a bowl.  Sift together the flour,
  20. baking powder, and salt.  Add to the egg mixture; beat until
  21. smooth.

  23. Heat 1 inch of oil in a frying pan.  Pour the batter into a funnel
  24. and pour into hot oil in a zig-zag pattern.  Flip over when bottom
  25. has browned, once second side has browned remove.  Place on a plate
  26. covered with paper towels.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
